Balmer turning himself into police about 12 hours after the break-in, admitting to authorities that he harbored hatred toward the governor.
In a 911 call in which he took responsibility for the attack, Balmer said he was upset about Shapiro's stance on the war in Gaza and that he, quote, will not take part in his plans for what he wants to do to the Palestinian people.
The affidavit reading, quote, Bomber was asked specifically what he would have done if Governor Shapiro found him inside of his residence, to which Bomber advised he would have beaten him with his hammer.

Ballmer will not be eligible for parole until April of 2015.
