but backstage to see matt cardona uh get in sammy zane's face and sammy is still trying to revive johnny wrestling and i thought that was pretty damn interesting i'm waiting to see what's going to happen with it they got me on the string andre every week i'm thinking something's going to happen and it's yet to happen but i know it's coming
But the match that Sami Zayn and Matt Cardona had was A+.
They went at each other.
You got to see all of the bells and whistles.
And at one point when Matt Cardona was able to finally hit Sami Zayn with the big one, Rough Rider, you thought it was over.
And he was able to get his foot up on the rope.
Man, I just, I don't know.
I'm just very proud of the work that I see from our veteran guys.
Ricky Saints, Carmelo Hayes had a hell of a match.
It had to be plus 15, 20 minutes.
Something new.
I don't know if y'all noticed it or not, but there was a point where Ricky Saints sent Carmelo over the barricade on the floor.
Carmelo rolled, came back over the barricade and stopped Ricky Sainz in one motion as he was turning around.
I thought that was a very innovative shot that they took.
The way that they shot that from the floor at a far distance, enough that you could see
Ricky Sainz wipe his face, man, I did that and turn around and Carmelo was flying already in the air.
I thought it was very, very good.
Not just from an action standpoint, but from the standpoint of the cinematography.
They did a good job of Joe Tessitore, Wade Barrett carried the show tonight as far as the way that they called all of the matches.
