to what we were discussing earlier, you said something really interesting, which is that when we look at these fundamental ethical principles that we have, principles like that of altruism, when we're looking for a justification, what we really have to say is, Well, that's just who we are and in a sense you established a kind of commonality between your account and the kind of account that someone like Aristotle gives on that. matched

And it seems like the kind of beings that we are are beings that are pretty good at a certain kind of ethical, altruistic behavior within pretty small groups. matched
