It's no secret that Big Ben had a good relationship with his offensive line.
So seeing Marquise Pouncey and David DeCastro, DeCastro on this station, by the way, earlier this week, among the guys to defend him, that was nice but also expected.
Let's also throw out there that Marquise Pouncey always supported Aaron Hernandez, so take that for what it's worth.
But this wasn't news.
I said that from the start.
It was pretty common knowledge that
that Ben wasn't the greatest of teammates, especially when Porter was his teammate.
They only overlapped by a few years.
They were only together from 04 to 06 as teammates.
Peasy got sent packing when Mike Tomlin got hired.
He returned to coach under Tomlin for a few seasons, and he used that as more of the fuel to think and say that he knew Ben the whole time.
I don't really buy into that.
They were teammates for three seasons.
One of them, Ben set the NFL rookie record that still stands today, winning, what, 13 or 14 straight games out of the gate.
Got them to the AFC Championship game.
The next year, they got over the hump.
