I mean, Griffin at shortstop and Lau at second base, there's actually an opportunity there that they get 20-plus home runs, maybe 25-plus home runs out of one of the guys and 20 out of the other, or 15 to 20 out of the other, from their middle infield.
So if Triolo lacks that at third base or Gonzalez when he plays there, lacks that power...
That's honestly fine with me.
Paul in Washington.
What's going on, Paul?
Paul, I appreciate the call.
That was a pretty subdued Paul and Washington call there, pretty calm from him.
I think the likelihood he brought up signing both Griffin and Skeens, the likelihood of signing Griffin, I would say, is way higher.
That's one I can get behind them.
I mean, obviously, I want them to sign both.
but the likelihood of them actually locking up somebody like Griffin is a lot higher, and the potential to do it at a more affordable price is also a lot higher.
Skeens, you would have to go way out of your comfort zone.
It would be worth it.
No question it would be worth it.
You would have to go way out of the comfort zone, and then you would have to force him to say no, but he has to realize, and I'm sure he does,

I don't think it's going out on a crazy limb to say that Paul Skeens will make record money for a starting pitcher once he hits the market.
