Free agency will be upon us.

And the Steelers have needs.

That is not news.

Pretty much every team in the NFL has needs.

Very few have the luxury of not having them.

The Steelers have some really pressing needs at very important positions.

And even though their brand, you know, it always carries them in the news, the Omar Khan era has been defined by making off-season moves that we are not used to seeing.

Another notion that these aren't your daddy's Steelers.

Unfortunately, that relates to winning championships.

But we see more aggression in free agency and when it comes to notable trades.

So even if I don't expect the Steelers to pick off the top-tier free agents, I don't expect them to sit back on their hands either.

And for the sake of exercise here, I am going to assume that Aaron Rodgers comes back

to the Steelers.

I'm not going to list him as a free agent target.

So the mini spoiler is that I don't have a quarterback on this list.

It'll be five outside free agents that I would like to see the Steelers bring in.

And I'm going to keep it realistic.

I don't think any of these are impossible.

Not just the guys at the very top of everyone's list.

A couple of guys will warrant big money.
