Well, he was an interesting guy to get to know.
And he tended to snap people from time to time.
But we got along because we were big wrestling fans.
There's not too many of those left anymore.
Well, you know, I was at the last Barry Bonds game at PNC Park when he had his big recliner in the locker room.
And right before everybody started talking to him, he goes, I don't trust you blank, blank, blanks.
And he pulled out a tape recorder and taped himself talking to everybody.
Then he went out and hit two home runs and sat down by the fifth inning and he was done for the day.
That is tremendous.
Yeah, I mean, in the history of time, I mean, you would love to see somebody like Babe Ruth play, right?
But we're going back.
You and Babe Ruth probably would have been good buddies.
My first six, seven years on the Steelers beat, I was on the team plane until I got the boot.
Who'd you sit next to most of the time?
I sat next to Myron from time to time.
What?
One of my first ones was Myron.
What was that like?
