And I and I think the the film taps into that in a really charming way.

Well the point is he is was a poet and he's a nice I mean look in real life I'm good friends with Simon Armitage, who is the nicest person you could imagine.

I mean, honestly, and and and a classic example of one of those things, you could sit next to Simon Armitage on a park bench and it would take you a very long time before he told you he was the poet laureate.

The Buddy Comedy thing is interesting though because the film definitely leans into that.

As I said in Silhouette, the um Churchill and De Gaulle in this quite often resemble Laurel and Hardy, you know, one sort of rotund, the other thin as a pencil.

And there is the thing in which the guy says, That de Gaulle guy looks like he's got a banana shaped head.

Um so there is a lot of that.

And there's a there are moments in which he looks like Jacques Tati in Moncle.

But I I really enjoyed Resistance um m much more than I thought I was going to.

Um and I'm actually very much looking forward to the second part, which comes out in September.
