I I was there, uh yeah, Coiety, uh Port Paul Coiety w he got got everybody um he got everybody up for it.

Um there was a big there was a big cheer at that moment, um and you know, you're setting yourself up for a a a fall, but um yeah, I I was was in my seat uh for that moment.

was he he was uh don't want to turn this into a Tottenham podcast, he was shocking.

Um he he just had one of them games where everything just went wrong for him because there was times in the first half when actually the game plan worked, isolated the the winger against the fullback and you think if that's Savio potentially and and die, maybe you know, you get a different outcome and like Tottenham have bought too many players like Matisse Tell over the line.

in the last five years where there's something there but it's it's not you know it's just not quite enough.

I think o in the first half, um on on the evidence of that, yeah, I I think Liverpool, you know, could have um definitely been behind before they were behind.

And um even in the second half it wasn't it wasn't great for from Liverpool, that that's for sure.

I've I'm just trying to work out whether I've sort of my I've got like a confirmation bias because I wasn't strong on Liverpool going into this season.

I I did think that there would be some

Some issues and like I'm not the only one to point out the midfield and kind of the the sort of unbalanced nature of it.

But I do wonder whether they've now played against maybe two of the best counter-attacking teams potentially in the league.

Uh because Newcastle we've already seen are are very good at that.

And Forrest under Glasner, if you what he had with Crystal Palace, they were a counter-attacking side, and when you've got on Doy and the

pace of him and the quality of Gibbs White.

So maybe they'll be better Liverpool when they come up against teams that don't want to counterattack them in in quite the same way.

But there is there there are clearly sort of um issues in in in that team that will need resolving at some point and they they keep wanting to buy attacking players um and Barcla

you know, potentially overpriced, but I mean he's better than what they've they've got on on that left hand side, so he will improve them.

But um I I just think they're asking too much of the the defence um you know too often really and Irreola um like he seems comfortable with with the with kind of how they are in midfield but um it looks to me like they they could do with getting somebody in because we spoke about Chelsea earlier on.
