Yeah, that's that was that was part of the CQB, uh the close call to battle stuff uh training that we did in New Zealand.
Um they don't do it anymore, but I I thought it was great.
Um I didn't think I didn't think it was good at the time.
Uh but when I when I was out reflecting on it, I thought, you know, like um minute each, eh?
Yeah, well if you've got a bunch of guys that are trying to get in the regiment and you've got all the blades there, the boys that are badged, you know, and they're going, Oh, who's this turkey?
Yeah, uh and then you you put 'em a room.
And you drop him, uh, he gets up and has another go and then he he's goes over there, gets winded, and they j you drag him up and he and he he keeps going.
Um you're like, Yep, no, that's the guy that we that's what we want.
That's one.
We can see the fight in him, you know, like he's gonna stay there, you know.
You don't want someone to, you know, punch him in the head and he turns and bolts, uh leaves their mates behind and you know heads with heads with someone else.

Um oh at at high school we sort of got into a little bit of martial arts and things like that.
And you know what it's like in uh growing up those days.
There's always fights in rugby and league and things like that.
