Well, the awareness the greenness, uh, as it shows up on my uh retina somehow or is taken in by my retina, needs to be transmitted somewhere and identified as green, hooked up with all the other instances of green, laid against the uh you know, the the opposing other colors, etc.
Instead of switching media or going somewhere in order to become conscious, heretofore unconscious contents staying right where they are can achieve something rather like fame in competition with other fame seeking.
Or just potentially fame finding contents.
And according to this view, that is what consciousness is.

Well, there has to be some part of the brain that analyzes, you know, says that yes, that is in fact green I've compared to the other greens.
It seems like that's not necessarily what we would consider.
