first time I was a franchise consultant myself.

was with Valpac, uh in two thousand two.

And I had all of Canada.

I had twenty three franchises.

I I'd never been in that role before.

I was in franchise development before.

I remember going up there and for some reason the franchisees or the Valpag franchisees in Canada thought that their job was taking them out to dinner.

And that was about it.

And then having an idea and and one of the things that helped me a lot was I remember sitting down with a franchisee in Oshawa Cannon, just outside of Toronto.

And I I uh his name was Trevor.

I said, Trevor, what do you think

And then secondly, what do you think my job is as your franchise consultant or whatever the we call the title of Ed Valpi?

And after he described what the two were

I said, We're never gonna get along because what you think I should be doing
