And in case anyone's ever wondering how large 642 acres is, as the parent of a high school senior looking at colleges, James Madison University is 660 acres.

So if a house is constructed within several feet of the outdoor training and kennel area, that's on the person that owns the property, not on you.

A friend of mine has two bred micro mini golden doodles, and they come from a breeder in Winchester that apparently is so well thought of that one of the dogs from that litter that my friend has his two from went to Robert De Niro, flew in to the Winchester airport and got his...

and flew out.

When it came time for us to get a micro mini golden doodle, I said to my wife, Winchester, it's right there.

It's obviously good enough.

And she went to Kansas to get our dogs from a breeder in Kansas.

And I mention that because if you're good at what you do,

people wanna go for particular reasons for certain types of breeders for their dogs.

And the fact that people come from all over the country here to get German Shepherds is a testament to what these folks are doing.

And as Commissioner Jasper said, they've been doing it for a long time, been expected by the county, USDA, AKC, I'm sure the state has guidelines to prevent them from being a puppy mill.

and that it's worked on this 100-acre property bordering a James Madison University-sized property next to it, and these are baby German Shepherds are this big, maybe, I don't know, and put 50 of them on an acre, whatever.

Anything bigger, you'd lose them.

So I stay with that, that from the land use side,

It's plenty of space for them to work it out.
