And my worst story of this was my company tribe.net.

I managed to start one of the first social networks.

I mean, like months, like basically a month or two after we launched LinkedIn or started pursuing LinkedIn, you know, before Facebook, before MySpace.

I launched at a point that everything worked.

I mean, like, you would get an email saying, Mark wants to be your friend.

You'd be like, ooh, what is that?

You click on it and open it, you know?

So, like, virality worked.

Everything worked, and I still failed.

And it was because my idea was wrong, you know?

But all these underlying instincts were obviously right.

Like, Tribe became, like, three different industries, but one failed company, right?

And that really burned in for me, like just, wow, if I could go back to Mark 2003 and shake myself and say, dude, you're on the right path, but this one idea isn't it.

So that's why I just felt like if I could just get one thing across to founders or aspiring founders, it's that.

It's write down what is the instinct, right?
