the hardest thing for a founder to do.
Like, you could have a $2 stock, you could have your board disagree, your investors disagree.
But I think actually going against your team, your own team don't believe in this, but you do, I think that might be the absolute hardest thing.
And so a lot of this is about the courage to stand by your own conviction and go with your commitment to intellectual honesty.
So what do you do when you come in on Monday and you're not that into this podcast?
And it's the second Monday and you're not that into it.
You're like, I'm just not feeling it.
Like I'm not having fun anymore or I'm watching the podcast.
versions come back and they're not that great.
You know, you don't have a big team, but if you're building a product, you're supposed to convey confidence to your team.
And, you know, you don't want to feel like third grade soccer that every Monday you flip the board and go a different direction.
And
At the same time, I think the power of the best founders is the willingness to, like Elon, I think just lost like his whole founding team from XAI, right?
Probably because he came, and I think it is that he went in and said, we built this wrong, we got to start over.
That's really, that's founder mode to me.
That's really powerful.
And so I think your number one job as a founder is to be right.
