And so Ian Cinnamon, I had a whole bunch of amazing tech assistants working

who all went on to, have gone on to amazing things.

Ian was a star recruit.

He was graduating from MIT early.

He had already built a successful mobile app or game.

And everyone was recruiting him.

And my recruiter said, we'll never get this guy.

He's going to

be a top recruit for Meta or Google.

And so I personally recruited him and I said, if you come, I'm going to manage your career personally at Zynga.

I'm going to make sure that you're challenged and that you grow more than any other company you could go to.

And he said, great, I'm on.

I'm signing on.

I put him in poker, which was like the best training grounds in the company.

And within one or two quarters, the poker team was pipping him out.

So they were marking him as a low, low, like low value, low potential.

And usually that's also the sign.

You want to look at people who are low lows because...

There might be organ rejection like there was with Ian, and sometimes you can find this real gem in the rough there.
