Luckily, I have some answers.

And I talk in the book about

that I realized in the midst of building Zynga what my why was.

want to build one of these internet treasures, these services we can't remember life before or imagine life without.

And that's my why.

And what I also realized, and this kind of came through my book of life practice.

Yeah, yeah.

And the first part of it is, throughout it, I'm reading everything I've written before.

And it's a conversation and a dialogue with yourself over time.

And

The painful weight of time and weight of pages is how many years you talk about doing the same things and you don't do it, right?

And we all feel that, but there's nothing like reading it and you're like, shit, five years ago, 10 years ago, I was trying to do the same thing.

I was still talking about launching .earth next year and I still haven't fucking done it, right?

And it's like, what am I going to do differently this year?

How am I going to stop time and make a difference?

And so...

It's been a powerful practice for me.

It hasn't always worked, obviously because I kept talking about launching .earth and I didn't do it.

But what I have learned is this, that the most important thing over time is not whether or not you achieve it, the goal.
