Yeah, I know there is a fair bit of narration in this first season of The Raider Shadows, especially and that I think that's kind of a necessity because Daniel's such a learner.

He either has to talk to the audience through narration or use, you know, a cassette tape to record his thoughts.

Now I find that the cassette tape thing doesn't really help because it's just so overused anyway.

I figure if you're gonna talk to the audience you might as well just use narration.

Yeah, I didn't want to overuse narration though.

So as you say, I did use some cues.

There's geez, even going to a movie theater seems outdated at the moment.

struggling a bit the movie industry, unfortunately.

But yeah, there's the Kevin Bacon reference, but I think the word hunk and the way that she's talking about him.

Noah in twenty twenty six is gonna call Kevin Bacon a hunk.

Well, it is plus he's sixty or something now, right?

So so I think that's an obvious cue.

The word hunk, which I chose specifically, pretty sure that's a nineteen eighties word that doesn't get used much anymore.

And of course, one of the coup de grases is having the Walkman, obviously, and a cassette tape being fumbled around in someone's hand.

I think that's all you need to really set the scene.

People can figure it out from there.
