It's about as close as you're going to get.
to something you would see in Ireland or Scotland in the U.S., but the difference is there's elevated greens.
There's a lot of false fronts.

There's very small landing areas on the greens.
You know, you go for the middle of the greens this week, you can't get real aggressive coming off the fairways, but, you know, it's, again, it's one of the top five courses in America, and it should be because it's in the Hampton.
But, you know, the putts here are kind of like,
houses around here.
They're beautiful, they're expensive, and they're gone before you know it if you hit it too hard.
They're wider than they were back in 18, but it's kind of deceiving because you've got some blind tee shots, but as you can see there, you've got the native area, too.
The best cue rough is about five inches, so it's penal to a real severe extent.
Rory said, look, you should be able to hit these fairways.
If you don't, you should be really penalized.

Everybody came in saying we're going to shoot 20-under, which is why I said it was going to be a rip-and-grip course.
The PGA of America heard that and made the greens diabolical.
I mean, that's what you're going to get here, too.
The holes are going to get harder the closer you get to the holes.
So I think it's accuracy off the tee, you know, guys that can hit greens, guys around the greens, guys with soft hands that can be creative.
