The thing that I found the most confusing about the last
few weeks in particular is all the briefing behind the scenes, all the whispers.
Um it's just hard to quantify exactly what the plan is.
It it kind of just doesn't feel as though there's a plan.
And like you say, it's all just being muddled together as we go along.
Um though I actually read quotes today of when Richard Gause was asked about the Harry Brooke incident when they kept
kept it quiet for a little while.
And there was a quote from um him speaking to the BBC earlier this year, um, saying, you know, we would do that again.
We would uh we would look to probably keep it quiet and then
discipline the players behind the scenes, I think it said in in the quote.
And then um
And then the way that the ha the the incident in London was handled, um in Chelsea was the opposite to stay.
It was the complete opposite.
So just everything feels counterintuitive.
Um and it's culminated in both Ben Stokes and Brendan McCullum, who are responsible for um changing the fortunes round in that period that you were involved in when they came together, with the team having lost w uh sorry, one one in the 17 games.
to then turn it around into what they did in those first couple of years, they're both gone out of the system and and it's a fresh start.
Yeah.
Well it's like a realization that um not a realization, but it was like like people were th were expecting wins.
And it's that expectation not being met that has led us to being here.
