My goal is for people to understand we're out there, we're protecting them, and we're working with them.

I have made it very clear to the staff, and I think when you and I spoke, that a judicial warrant will be used to go into houses, into places of businesses, unless we're pursuing someone that enters in that place.

We have to rein in ICE and stop the violence.

We need reform.

I've made this very clear that I don't care what color your state is.

I don't care if you're red or you're blue.

At the end of the day, my job is to be Secretary of Homeland and to protect everybody the same.

And we will do that.

I'll fight every single day.

Today, I got the privilege of meeting so many of the employees at DHS.

These employees have been there for 30 days without pay.

And if you need anything to know their dedication to show up and still protect the homeland that you and I enjoy and the freedoms that we're experiencing, they're working for free because of political politics.
