Fairlife is temporarily suspending U.S.
milk production as it addresses a ransomware event.
The dairy company, which is owned by Coca-Cola, said this week it had detected that an unauthorized user had accessed its milk production related systems.
The company said it activated its incident response protocols and started investigating.
Fairlife Dairy is one of Coca-Cola's most popular brands.
In 2020, Coke fully acquired the milk brand for almost a billion dollars.
The company's dairy production in Canada was not impacted.
Coca-Cola says it does not have any additional information and did not indicate when Fairlife Systems would be restored.
