So there is it's so conflicted because I remember you can't help it being schoolbound, being attracted to a narrative about going to sea.
think part of it's because it's an island, and part of it is that there is that you're surrounded by the sea.
Because it's not just a decolonial stuff, it's also stuff like Sinbad.
It's the this idea of possibilities, of monsters, of dangers, of discovery, of going to new lands.
But it's also in a way it ties into back when literature for me was a lot of make-believe.
Interesting.
Longships in particular is usually I usually recommend it as the novel to give a an adolescent if they're just done with all the adolescent books and want they don't want them to stop reading.

That a great book for them to continue reading is the Longships.

What I found that happens to me when I'm I think about setting 'cause I read a lot of historical stuff and not necessarily historical stuff, but stuff s set in a period that we now consider historical is that there's always a point where I think but if I were to be back in this era, what would I be in this era?

wouldn't I want to read all these nineteenth century novels or eighteenth century novels, but then I'd be saying, Don't whip me, Marsa
