my background and where I grew up in, in, in the mean streets of Crabtree, I guess you will, you know, in Raleigh.

Uh, but no, it's, it's interesting for me when, when, um, we moved, we were in one part of Raleigh, we moved to a whole nother part of Raleigh.

We were one of, we thought we were the only ones, but we were one of only two black families and an all white neighbor.

And it's interesting as a six-year-old kid starting to build relationships with people that don't really know you back in the 70s, okay?

That was different, okay?

But then I got introduced to this wonderful worldwide game of soccer, okay?
