Now, we're playing 84 games this year, and I don't think that teams are really looking at playing somebody 60-plus games.
A lot of teams are going to utilize their backup, their third goalie as well, but Connor Hellebuck can play 65 games if you want him to.
He can be a workhorse, and I really believe
that, especially when it comes to goaltending, you know, people always say, what have you done for me?
But once you win something, now it's a different story.
I played with Dominic Hasek.
For years, Dominic Hasek in Buffalo, great goalie, two times heart winner,
You know, Vezina, multiple, five, six Vezinas, whatnot.
And then in Buffalo, he loses against Dallas in the finals, lost to, you know, some of the early series, you know, Montreal in 93.
He wasn't even around, like he got hurt and didn't play a lot.
So I'm looking at, but then Ashton got to Detroit and won a cup and then won a second one, used a backup to Osgoode, but then all of a sudden he's a winner.
Right, so that to me is what Carl O. Buck would bring is that, you know what, once he settles in, he can still win.
He proved it at the Olympics.
Well, obviously, the ones that he's really close to knew that, you know, that request was probably made early in the summer.
So they had kind of, you know, understand the situation.
They know him.
And, you know, if he was to come back to the Jets...
Well, he's still one of the best goalie in the world and he'll help you win and help you play better.
But I really don't see him coming back.
