She said, you have to find your passion in the business.
And that's part of, you know, I say talent, she says passion.
And she kind of laughed.
She goes, in the beginning, the passion was the paycheck.
You know, you did whatever you had to do, and that's another thing you have to bring to whatever business you are, is you've got to do work.
Anything that you're going to get in life requires that you've got to do work.
And even though the phrase says if you do what you love, you don't work a day in your life, hogwash, it's still work.
But she said first she chased the passion of the paycheck until she found what was good for her.
She hired men who can still clean a drain in a pinch, but she hired the guys that did that work because her passion wasn't plumbing.
Her passion was building people.
and building people built.
So when I hear any story like that, whether it's a man or a woman who has started this franchise, franchise success stories just make me smile from ear to ear.
Because
I know how much work it took and how much guts it took to take that leap of faith that you could do this.
You could own a business.
You could walk away from what
was, you know, somewhat secure as a job with benefits and retirement plans and sick days and step off that cliff, yeah, I don't think that there is a gender gap there.
That's just big, brave, wonderful people.
I agree 100%, two great women in franchising.
