I mean, I've got some thoughts that are simmering, but.
Is it a starship enterprise?
Yeah, you're putting blinders on yourself.
You've already clicked on a filter of this is going to be bad.
I'm going to sniff out what's bad about it, which blinds you to being open to any ahas or the revelations.
I love the moments when I'm reading and I call it like a book down moment where you like put it down on your lap or you put your hand in your page and you close it and you just have a moment to go, hmm.
Like, and I find those, it takes me a long time to read in general because I love reflecting and then, you know, going down a rabbit hole of like my own reflections and making notes and musing off of the material.
So I feel like that's a really sad thing when you put those blinders on and you're only looking for something, you're only looking for fault and then you leave yourself out of the gifts that are, could be available to you.
Yeah.
A gift like reading something that you coming across something that you weren't expecting to affect you as it did.
And so taking a pause to be like, oh, that made me think, that made me feel, that made me mad, that made me sad, that brought me to, you know, in the line of improvisation.
If this is true, then what else is true?
And applying it to my own life and how I relate to it.
I feel like that's the fun of reading any kind of like...
Uh, it's funny.
I think of philosophy, I'm just going to say, I think of philosophy is kind of as like a self-help text, right?
Like something to expand your mindset.
