This is a great, great trade for the Cleveland Browns because they're getting Jared Verse.

That was the whole key to this premier edge rusher.

So if Browns fans are worried about losing Miles Garrett, of course, he's the two-time NFL defensive player of the year.

But what made this trade go was the fact that they were able to get Jared Verse in return.

So they got a

First round pick next year, 2027.

And they got Jared Burse, two-time Pro Bowler.

He's had more pressures over his last two seasons than anybody else except for two defenders, Miles Garrett being one of them.

He's young.

He's 25 years old.

Plenty of upside potential.

This is a great trade for the Browns.

Well, I think what you're looking at right now is a situation where the Cleveland Browns win games in 2026.

And I think that the acquisition of Jared Verse, I think that confirms that.

If they did not end up with a player like that and were willing to trade Miles Garrett, you can kind of say, well, maybe they're not necessarily throwing in the towel on 2026.

No, that's not what's happening here.
