Um, so when you buy your t-shirts, you need to do different things to the built environment.

For example, it's up to the producer to design effectively.

So if you have multiple materials in a t shirt that you buy for fifteen euro on vintage, you extend the life of that product.

Um and and that's important.

Nothing is is going to be

Perfect, but you can redesign at source so a company gets smarter about the producer responsibilities it has.

But if they've already produced a m a t shirt, for example, that is woven with different materials and very hard to recycle, if you reuse and and give it a new life and you buy it from vintage, yes, it has been a positive and yes it has given economic value.

And it might be takes a while to change.

It's uh it it is uh one of the biggest challenges is behavioral change.

Um, the culture of

take make waste out there.

It's in a recycling economy now.

So you take you you make, you take and you recycle and you think you've done your job and we we all feel proud of that.

But in fact there's an infrastructural system there that needs to be built.

So if you imagine it like this, and like Ireland has we we produce one of the biggest rate tonnages of uh waste per person in the EU.

Um we have about fourteen million tons of waste per year.

So we have a massive, if you think of it like a sink, we have a massive tap, we have a huge amount of water, but we have a tiny drain.

And it it filled up and we have no infrastructure there.
