Yeah, Spartan 95 is tremendous.

It's such a good race.

Okay, it maybe fizzles a little bit at the end after the last safety car, which was deployed for literally no reason by that point.

I think all the crashes have been long ago.

Yeah.

And then Damon Hill gets a penalty straight away.

So it's not even the lead battle that you might expect.

But the Schumacher slicks in the wet stuff is so good.

The battle with Hill, Schumacher gets unfairly criticized for because when you watch it back in detail, he basically does nothing wrong.

It's just really good racing.

And he's making it work on slicks in the wet when Damon's got the massive grip advantage.

The opening laps are like the finest couple of minutes of Johnny Herbert's F1 career.

Then he becomes terrible for the rest of the event after that.

But the way Johnny Herbert's trying to throw moves into Eau Rouge in the not wet yet, David Coulthard's racing really well with him.

So is John Lacey as well.

That three-way lead battle for the first couple of laps with so much passing and repassing.

Yeah, it's brilliant.

Herbert managing to do a 360 spin across the grass at Lecommon, just continuing pretty much where he was afterwards.

It's so much fun.

I loved it live at the time.
