I mean, in Ben Johnson, we trust, right?
I mean, this guy identified his type.
Bears fans were pissed last year because they took Loveland over Warren.
That worked out.
Then you go Luther Burden in the second round.
That worked out.
Even in the seventh round, getting a running back who ends up stealing carries and coming on guy.
If Ben Johnson wants to play on offense, let's give him the player, right?
Holds and Dennis Allen can handle the defense defensively.
What Ben Johnson wants on offense, he should get.
And I'll tell you, the nickname in scouting circles, and I've got buddies around the league, we all talk, Logan Jones, we were calling him Baby Kelsey because a center a little bit undersized, but elite agility, elite athleticism,
to do those long pulls, the short pulls, the traps, to the second level.
It is tailor-made for Ben Johnson's offense, where you have to have that center who can direct to the second level, that can handle linebackers one-on-one, but is going to be mean as hell to be able to chip out D tackles.
Now, I'm not saying he's going to be Jason Kelsey, but when you watch those two move, it's Tyler Linderbaum, it's Kelsey.
That's the type of movement skills he has.
And as much as I love Sam Hecht, grading for a...
You know, a team that doesn't exist when I'm setting my big board.
If I were working in Chicago, Jones would have been my top center just based on that movement ability alone.
I'm going to let that be your quote, not mine, that they found their Jason Kelsey.
I'm not owning that comparison.
