So we're going to do a longer full Sports Business Hour with Matt, and it'll be in your paid feeds a little bit after the time you get this show.
But we did want to carve out a little bit out of that show to throw it into this show.
So Alex and Matt, let's talk a little bit about the Big Ten.
Yes, the sun never sets on Tony Petitti's empire.
The off-season is his season.
I think that what's interesting here is that you have.
The Big Ten has kind of seesawed between types of commissioners here.
Kevin Warren was very much kind of cult of personality, cult of Kevin Warren.
Very, very accessible.
And I think that Tony is...
the opposite.
Tony doesn't talk publicly much at all.
Uh, Tony does not do the Greg Sankey thing.
Tony does not hold press conferences.
Tony does not hold court at these things, Matt, that you and I are at Tony ducks us at college football playoff, uh,
college football playoff media availabilities where the commissioners are at deciding these kinds of things.
I think Tony Petitti is more of the professional commissioner style.
Take the slings and arrows for the member schools for the owners, so to speak.
And I think the owners, so to speak, member schools are content with that.
I think it's a lot easier for them to come out and to send Tony out to either say or back channel that they want to get to 24 than it is for the Maryland's and the whoever's to say we want easier access to the college football playoff outright.
