Got ahead early.

Changeup was good.

Two-seam was good.

Pitched ahead.

Pitched efficiently.

And Ashcraft, too.

I think the one thing you're starting to see out of Murphy is the pitching coach.

And now these guys, the improvement I see...

They're flipping the first pitch curveball over, getting strike one.

And you hear caps talk about that on the broadcast.

First pitch curveball, get them ahead, make them guess, turn things different, finish them with hard fastballs or whatever the case may be.

But an impressive but a shame that two, three, and four stars wouldn't get a win out of any of those great outings.

Yeah, absolutely.

And I think that early on, because I was kind of frustrated that after Cruz's rough first day and a day off, that he wasn't in the lineup the next day.

And, you know, it was almost like, you know, was he being punished or like, let's get him back out there and let him, you know, we're going to go with him.

They've committed to him.

And then I heard the comments from Donnie Kelly that some of these guys have been off for a lot of days in a row coming off of spring training, and they're trying to get certain guys, make sure they're fresh and getting at bats and seeing pitches.

And that was the explanation.
