If I want to call him a major league guy that he could be that's a little bit ahead.
So Bobby Witt was 10 years, I think $277 million was his contract.
Now he had two years of service time when he got it.
And so, so that's a big difference because he's already had two years in and he was close to arbitration.
He had shown what he could do.
So, so I don't think Griffin asking for more is wrong based on what, you know, everything is.
But at some, at some point, do you, does, does Griffin just say, Hey, I want to, I want to know I have this.
I want to be this person.
I'm going to just go play.
And if I'm as, you know, I look at it as if I'm as good as he could, he looks like he's going to be aged, whatever it would be, 27, 28, another one.
I'm going to get another one, and if I'm not, I took all the risk out of it if I'm not.
I don't disagree.
And like, I would be, I think another factor in this is like, that I keep going back to every time Connor Griffin comes up, says the guy who's pitching today,
There hasn't been long-term contract talks with him.
Maybe it was floated and he didn't want any parts of it or whatever the case may be.
So there's a little gray area in there with the dude who's pitching today.
He's the one that deserves that contract.
And I've had a couple people that I've reached out to in that side of the business, and they're like, well, are they really going to go Griffin before they get Skeens at least attempted?
At least Skeens says no.
Well, Skeens, I think Skeens is completely waiting to see what Scooble gets.
