I thought it was a poor attempt, poorly timed.

But there's a nice irony in Raya getting the golden glove today with that clean sheet, which so nearly wasn't.

Yeah.

He has been excellent for them and credit him for making the save because of the goalkeepers might not have, but it was more in there.

The players should have scored rather than the goalkeeper did well to save at camp.

It's a lifetime achievement award, essentially, for him.

And it looked on the face of it as though they'd done some decent business in January.

But it was almost too late at that point.

And again, when you reflect on that business, Tati Castellanos has obviously given them something, but clearly not quite enough.

The Somerville injury was massive for them as well.

But they've just had too many periods where they've gone too long without winning any games, I think.

And it's not like we've not seen this coming, is it?

Similarly with Spurs, I think there's been a few seasons of stagnation from the very top.
