I mean, if you're telling me that the Chiefs are bringing in Snead and at this point in his career that maybe they're thinking of him as a little bit more of a safety corner hybrid.
I'm not talking about throwing him in the slots or anything, but if they're thinking of him as more like a dimeback or something that they can put and use in different spots, I could absolutely see that.
I had to resist the urge after Curtis started talking about Todd Riesing, of calling him Sod Riesing.
I mean, what they need him to be is they need him to be a true number one receiver and what their expectations were two years ago before he got hurt.
And that's a guy that can go out and get you 80 to 100 catches and, you know, preferably get you 1,200, 1,400 yards in that ballpark.
And I think there's a wide range of outcomes in which he could be.
I mean, obviously, he could get hurt again.
If he plays a full season, though, I mean, I think at least 800 yards is kind of a floor for him.
I mean, you look at what he's done, and, you know, his last full season of games, you go back to, like, last 17 games, and, yeah, you have to go three years to get those 17 games.
He's been a guy that's averaging like over 70 yards a game, and that's a player who's going to get you 1,100, 1,200 yards.
So he can be that guy, and he can be that guy for an extended period of time.
And I still don't know what kind of guy he is, but based on what we saw last year, at least before the injury, and I think there's some room to improve, obviously, but they've taken every step.
certainly with this coaching staff, of trying to give him the resources to be a better receiver.
I mean, they've brought in Chad O'Shea with the idea that he can get especially their top two guys to be what they think that they can be and what they have shown that they can be in periods of time.
I mean, yeah, they hope that Chad O'Shea makes it so that Rishi Rice becomes a guy that can maybe get them close to 1,400 yards.
