And so what you're seeing in simplest terms, as I've mentioned to a lot of people, what you're seeing throughout the NBA and something that we're very familiar with here in Toronto is that teams are kind of becoming like the core four leafs, right?
You know, you're spending money on three to, yeah, well, but if you look around the league, you're spending money
on three to five players, right?
And then there's a significant drop off and then depth becomes certainly a factor.
And so last year, the Raptors had five players at 19 and above.
And then their next highest paid player was, uh, Colin Murray Boyles, who that was a standard contract based upon the fact that he was in ninth overall selection in the NBA draft.
So you're seeing some of that kind of emerge, um,
And Oklahoma City, they, you know, they're in a situation where, you know, they'll have three max players this year.
So they're going to have to operate a little bit differently.
And then next year, they'll have one super max with then two max players.
So, yeah.
Things are kind of changing and evolving, and I think people are starting to see some of that as it pertains to the CBA and the contracts.
But the Raptors are in a good spot when you think about Kawhi Leonard and this young group of players that the Raptors have.
This was the youngest team in the postseason, along with Oklahoma City.
You think about what they were able to accomplish this year, and now you start thinking about the depth that they have.
Jacoby Walter, CMB, Jamal Shedd, those are significant young players for what the Raptors want to accomplish in the future.
