We are seeing in international competitions where people go all in on their second attempt deadlift.

And I think it's in large part a mistake.

We saw it last year in Germany with Alba Bostrom and was it Tiara Bernardi?

We saw them make that mistake.

And then, you know, Alba, when you go all in on your second one, even if you make your second one, you basically show all of your cards and you're done.

You're done.

You're showing your hand.

You're saying, hey, this is what I'm capable of.

And then you have a guy like Addy with all the horsepower in the world who then could be like, cool, I'll just go up another five, you know what I mean, or what have you, and you've emptied your gas tank.

So I was not a fan of that approach.

But look.

To his credit, he still took the silver medal on a really bad day, on an off day, you know, getting, you know, being injured and only making, look, he only made what?

He made five attempts.

Same with Jerns.

They both had really poor days performance wise, you know, but outcome wise, it's not the metrics that they would want.

But to your point, Ryan, you can never take that silver medal away from him.

And for Jerns, you can never take that bronze away from him.

So we're very, very thankful.

insurance was able to maintain position on the podium score a lot of points for team gb still walk away albeit with an injured elbow which i know he's going to get an mri on but i really do feel like i failed him and dropped the ball in that situation so i just want to raise my hand and say look i'm fallible too man i make plenty of mistakes and i clearly got that session wrong

uh my prediction for the 83 is i was the author of my own demise and the eternal struggle between good and evil aka matt and eric but of course but of course people love these battles go ahead matt sorry the last thing though when i add an eric you froze a couple times there on my end so not my end we're all good okay good fantastic i don't know if you mentioned during that point where it froze for me because you froze for about 20 seconds there
