And this is her fifth world title.
Just I mean, she's fat in five hundred.
It's extraordinary.
It's just not you can't say enough good things about her and and and her legend and her legacy, if you will.
And she's still competing.
She's a living legend.
In in in British powerlifting, the the uh the the two lifts that Joy missed, she missed her third squat.
Um, and it wasn't a bad number.
I think they got she got called for her elbows supporting on the thighs.
I think it was a technicality, and that's what they called her on it.
wasn't depth.
Um so we lost out on five kilos there.
But Will Brown, um
called a perfect game and she was able to connect on all three benches.
She missed her opening deadlift on a minor technicality because I think she kind of bobbled at the top and there was that weird, awkward moment.
But hey, they said, what the heck, we're going up to two thirty-five anyway, which of course, I mean, that was a great call and it was the only call and it was an obvious call to make when you've got the best deadlifter on the planet that we've ever seen at this weight class and arguably at some other weight classes.
Um
Is just extraordinary that weapon that she has.
And so um, yeah, I mean, just competing with Sarah and Aldi, I mean, Sarah made all three squats, um, missed a bench, but then curiously missed her second and third deadlift.
