People were the limiting factor.
Right, there just weren't enough of these people that I had seen back in my Goldman days who understood the business, who understood data, and who understood, you know, this kind of constantly evolving tech stack.
Most organizations just did not have these people s sitting around waiting.
And hence we had every time we would sign big customers we'd have to bring along
a consulting partner to basically do the implementation work because these firms just didn't have these people.
And there was just no other way.
Um and you know, we basically kind of realized that was a key part of our go to market story was to go to market with these the GSIs and even the regional SIs.
Um, and it was you know, that was the best you could do.
And then AI landed.
And we and my my co friend and I, Justin Lenksett, realized that
all the customers we were talking to were trying to figure out.
How they could use AI.
to basically help automate the work they were trying to do.
To do analytics, to do data engineering, to do data work.
Um for the 'cause of for the first time they had
effectively this entity that was getting smarter and smarter up up the space and they were all trying to figure out how to harness it, how to wrap it, how to
Make it do the work of
what we now call agents back in the day.
And we saw some early kind of win wins of this during Snowflake's hackathons when Jess and I would basically kind of compete given what we saw each year.
We we saw we had a working agent in twenty, you know, twenty uh three talking to data and realized like this was something that all customers are gonna want.
