I think public affairs conference is really um it's our top advocacy event of the year.
And it's really uh a crystallisation and a manifestation of everything that we do here in Washington and in the States.
Wrapped up in a day and a half, two days
of activities here in Washington and it culminates with
Um, a full day of
lobbying directly from franchisees and franchise ours coming to D C, IFA staff working on scheduling appointments with their members of Congress
um and with their Senate offices to talk about the top concerns
that our members are facing right now, the top policy issues our members are facing right now.
And Jay will get into some of those uh issues specifically later, but we base all of this not in in a vacuum but on the member surveys that we do throughout the year.
And so, like I said, it's our top advocacy event of the year.
Um, and so not only on uh the policy issues, but it's just a great way to educate Congress.
um and more and even more importantly sometimes their staff
um about what franchising is.
And the partnership that you touched on already, the relationship that exists between franchisees and franchisors.
Um, just talking about their personal stories, how they got into franchising.
um the economic impact that franchising has.
