But what I get to do is I get to see what they're really like.
These guys are so prepped.
They come into an interview.
I remember taking the Wunderlich test.
I remember Andy Reid asking me to drop my favorite play on a whiteboard.
I don't know, like literally could have drawn up like a hook and ladder.
Like I was just like, I wasn't prepped the way that these guys are prepped.
They're prepped for the job interview.
So I get to see him behind the scenes.
And I'll just say like for Ty Simpson, genuine, like absolutely genuine at every moment.
And then you talk about kind of an aura about a guy.
Most of my time was spent with Fernando Mendoza because he wasn't throwing that day, wasn't working out that day.
The guy that I believe that Fernando Mendoza was kind of looking at was like, man, I can't wait to see this guy up close and personal on his compete day was Ty Simpson.
And Fernando even said to me at one point, he said, you know, early on, Ty Simpson, he was the front runner for the Heisman.
He was the guy that I was trying to chase.
He set the standard in college football at the quarterback position this year.
And, you know, like things happen, injuries happen, team, like it's a roller coaster of a season.
And somewhere it flipped to where Fernando was the guy.
