It's just very hard.

I don't know exactly why these pieces don't all come together, but they kind of definitely don't.

And some of the characters are...

are kind of like the character of Eddie is one of my favorite things about Silent Hill, too.

And he's sort of just like a brief cameo here.

And I thought that his story in the game really kind of helped illuminate who the the main character actually is.

And maybe he's not that great a guy.

And

Yeah, just to cut that out entirely.

Of course, there's no room for his whole story to be in there because even without him, it still feels like rushed, right?

Like this maybe would have been a better short series on TV than it would have been a movie.

Perhaps.

There's just things that aren't adaptable in this.

Like, you know, there's a character that you encounter in the game that you look at her and you're like, that kind of looks like the wife character, right?

Am I tripping?

And then in the movie, it's like, well, that's the same actor.

Yes.

You very clearly know that that's the same actor looking different.

You're like, that doesn't really work in the movie form, does it?

Because in the game, there's this amount of doubt in your brain.
