When I first saw the letter, I was going to blast it because my natural reaction is blast something UofL because it's fun.
And I was literally writing the tweet to blast it.
And then I looked that the person who wrote it was Larry Benz, who's one of the co-owners of OVW.
I was like, oh, wow.
Larry's one of my favorite people.
He has an interesting life, by the way.
He started court physical therapy, sold it, then started another physical therapy place, sold it, and then started a third physical therapy place.
So chances are, if you've got physical therapy in Kentucky, Larry Benz had something to do with it.
He owns part of OVW, and he owns the Prague Lions European American Football League team.
He's double dipping here.
I've wanted to get involved in the prog just to be part of it.
It'd be cool to have that on the resume.
Anyway, so when I saw that he wrote it, I was like, great letter.
You know, at its core, this debate is Louisville and schools like Louisville want all the college sports teams to share their media rights, sell them collectively, because they think it'll get more money.
And if you're Louisville, that's probably true.
But the SEC and the Big Ten are like, why would we want to do that?
So this is the case of, think about what baseball's like.
Back in the day, all the baseball teams were individually owned.
