I think in compared to the drivers how much they want to win so that will to win is throughout it and you saw it last season it didn't matter whether it was Christian Horner at the helm or Laurent Mechies at the helm they were still driving relentlessly all the way to the final moment of you know whatever upgrade they could bring to get that extra bit of competition and whether that's had a knock-on effect this year I think Laurent's alluded to that being the case but they'll still keep on doing that perpetually I mean I think that's what makes them are they the best at in-season development it's quite hard to compare but they're certainly a front-runner aren't they
I think that does that not lend itself back to Adrian Newey time?
It sort of instilled that and his technical team around him and on the sporting side, Jonathan Wheatley, I think, had it as well, that element.
So they're pushing the envelope, the boundaries wherever possible.
And it feels like even when a key figure like Newey leaves, that that still permeates throughout the team.
It's amazing when you're in Milton Keynes and Laura likes to push that it's the sum of the parts, 2,000 people there and just seeing the relentlessness of work.
Paul Monaghan always says it's just a
to work there surrounded by people with much bigger brains than he has, although I think that does him a disservice, to be fair.
