You see it every year.
You know, I play with the top 10 safety in Sean Taylor, who is extremely unique in what he could do on the football field.
But not many people are like Sean Taylor.
in terms of what he brought to the football field.
So that position, I'm not saying it's devalued, but the primary positions overtake, it speaks.
The quarterbacks, the offensive tackles.
Now it's wide receiver.
Obviously, the pass rushers in the corners.
They have more value in terms of the perspective of people making decisions in the National Football League.
But you saw it, though, in free agency this year.
There are some states that got paid a lot of money.
A lot of money because of what they can do.
And what it really is, is are you versatile enough as a safety to play from depth, to tackle the line of scrimmage, and to cover down?
If you have those three traits, you're going to get paid.
Well, it's always a two-way street, right?
You can say it either side.
Well, our coverage is so good, the quarterback has to hold the ball.
The flip side is our coverage is not great, but our pass rush is so good, the quarterback has to get rid of the ball.
Ultimately, you'd like to have both, right?
I mean, we don't know.
