Just to go back real quick on this, right now I think Yaxel Lindenborg is a better basketball player than Caleb Wilson, but I do not think that he will be that in the NBA draft.

by the end of next season so um wilson's ceiling is very very high but to me it's debonza debonza's got the he's got the range he's got uh the scoring ability he's still got to really sharpen a lot of stuff that has to do with his game like he wasn't as good from three as he wanted to be the release was a little bit flat he worked on it consistently all season he's still got to get better with that he had to take on a lot of responsibilities defensively actually think he'll be a better defender at the nba level because he won't be tasked with as much at byu but

But to me, yeah, everything that would come with a franchise-changing player, I think DeBonsa has the highest ceiling.

Um, no, I don't know if they should necessarily be surprised because every franchise goes through different methods to what pool of candidates they're going to interview.

And I know there was some roaming curiosity with John Shire, of course.

And I think next year would have been definitely likely that he could have gone.

And if not that like 28 at the latest.

And then this whole thing with Dallas just accelerated on a level that I, I think a week ago, Dusty may still wasn't even sure that he was going to have a real shot at getting the Dallas Mavericks job done.

But get a shot he did, and now he goes, and he'll be there tonight with his three likely lottery picks, though, by the way.
