So we'll see.
I think it will be AJ at number one.
I talked to his father earlier today.
I wrote a big feature on DeBonsa last week and read at CBSSports.com.
And he told me, I don't know where he's going, but AJ is going number one.
And so I think he just cracked the door a little bit to the chaos scenario somehow of Utah actually being able to maneuver to number one.
I don't think that'll happen.
I think the Wizards take DeBonsa number one and we get the draft rolling from there.
The one reason that would back up why that's still a possibility is because this draft is so...
loaded and at the top with the top four picks in general, um, you can build a scenario in case around which, uh, what one franchise might value as a number one player.
Another franchise might value as number three on their board and, and et cetera, et cetera.
And could they find common ground there?
I still don't think we're going to get there.
Um, because I don't think these general managers want to look back and having seen, having traded away from a spot to get player a, when they could have had player B. So I don't think we'll get there, but it is still possible.
I'm rooting for it.
I always want the chaos.
Give me something very interesting to, uh,
to riff about here.
I'll be on CBS Sports HQ's draft coverage on TV and studio later tonight, and I'm going, I'm rooting for anything other than DeBonsa 1, Peterson 2, Boozer 3, Wilson 4, because that's the most likely scenario, and I'd like to see it.
Barely a possibility.
