So anything that doesn't fit within this definition of what is patriotic and what is their vision of America, they start to bleed into, well, they're an enemy of our mission.

And it seems like the qualifications of that keep getting smaller and smaller.

Well, she, her, she had to be a paid agitator, even though we have absolutely no evidence of that.

And everybody's seeing the same video.

And to see such starkly different interpretations of it.

is kind of baffling.

I don't know, I can't really think of an analogy or another time where people are seeing what's in front of them and running it through such broadly different filters in their mind.

Right.

Of course, moving on from that dreadful story to the next one, we kidnapped the president of Venezuela, seized a couple of their oil tankers, and now it's slowly starting to crystallize what our semblance of a plan is moving forward.

The latest is that we are going to essentially micromanage Venezuela and run Venezuela by seizing their oil and using the profits to run the country.

That's as far as we've gotten.

And it feels like what comes to mind is it feels like a private equity firm.

coming in and firing everybody, in this case kidnapping, and saying, okay, we're going to take it over and run it and essentially use the money for what we see fit to make it run more efficiently.

If you can name a historical precedent...

Particularly recently that this has proven to be a bad idea.
