I think he became as the season progressed a smarter player.
Which is very important because to play, you're not gonna be able to match the skill of Suzuki and Caulfield, but if you can match the brain of theirs.
You can play.
You can play with them.
And he just needs to play within himself.
And that that's something that uh Brian likes Brian Wilde likes to say and that Pierre McGuire likes to play.
Like, don't, you know, get the fundamentals down.
Don't start, you know, trying to do things that are out of your job description.
And try to expand too quickly.
Just stay within yourself and work on what you do best with those players and you can have success.
And I think that we will see that line.
Uh we're gonna see that line a few times this year.
Um, will it happen on a consistent basis?
I think that depends on Zach Balduk.
Uh I could too, and I like that you brought up the fact that it's not a given and the reason for that is if Duray Slavkovsky is gonna be playing with Ivan Demodov on
Line two, one B, whatever you want to call it.
There's gonna be uh there's gonna be a flying Frenchman who has something to say about Zach Balduk playing on the first line on a consistent basis because we saw Alex Texier play in that role.
And, you know, I'm not gonna call Alex Texier a world beater or, you know, uh a a force multiplier, but he played well in that role because that guy, frankly,
Things you know, there's uh his play leaves something to be desired when he is without the puck.
